This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Develop dependable, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure.
• Implement engineering principles to address infrastructure, deployment, and operational challenges.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools in everyday engineering tasks.
• Enhance productivity and expedite troubleshooting processes.
• Provide reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Employ coding, testing, debugging, and automation best practices to tackle infrastructure and reliability issues.
• Engage in projects for innovative startups and globally recognized companies.
• Collaborate with international clients and software development teams.
• Assume responsibility for infrastructure and reliability challenges.
• Conduct incremental testing and deployment.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and reliability issues.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in SRE, DevOps, or related infrastructure positions.
• Strong practical experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proven expertise with Kubernetes in production settings.
• Proficient scripting and automation capabilities using Python.
• In-depth understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles, encompassing reliability, availability, scalability, incident management, and operational excellence.
• Comprehensive grasp of software engineering principles and best practices, including clean and maintainable code, testing, debugging, version control, and code review techniques.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar.
• Ability to utilize AI tools for coding, infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, testing, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog or New Relic.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and deployment automation.
• Comfortable with frequent, incremental testing and deployment practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work independently and take charge of infrastructure and reliability challenges.
• Proficient English communication skills — minimum B2 level proficiency.
