Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and implement solutions that enhance product reliability and drive organizational efficiency.

• Inspire and facilitate the development of robust CI/CD pipelines.

• Offer mentorship and share insights into DevSecOps best practices.

• Collaborate with product teams to clarify their needs and support infrastructure and reliability goals.

• Enhance reliability by conducting root cause analyses, post-mortems, and implementing code-based prevention strategies.

• Execute effective monitoring and security scanning measures.

• Support teams in troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Showcase and advocate for cutting-edge technologies and practices that enhance workflows.

• Identify and apply automation strategies to minimize manual support efforts.

• Provide on-call emergency support outside of regular hours when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience as a software engineer, proficient in Infrastructure and Configuration-as-Code.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong expertise in AWS design and architecture.

• Professional-level AWS Certification is a considerable advantage.

• Extensive experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure and Configuration-as-Code practices.

• Experience in Windows scripting.

• High proficiency in CI/CD pipeline systems, preferably GitLab.

• Experience with Git in a collaborative multi-team setting.

• Some exposure to container technologies and containers-as-a-service platforms, such as EKS and/or ECS.

• Experience with log aggregation systems.

• Familiarity with APM solutions and infrastructure monitoring tools like Grafana is a plus.

• A strong desire to challenge oneself and learn new skills.
