SAP DevOps Engineer – SAP BTP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provision SAP landscapes and tenant environments.

• Assist with customer onboarding, which includes configuring and setting up environments.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to provisioning, configuration, and environment.

• Investigate, debug, and address technical incidents by identifying root causes and applying solutions.

• Recognize and eliminate operational bottlenecks for engineering teams.

• Sustain and enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Facilitate deployment automation and manage release processes.

• Provide support for platform operations within the SAP Procurement ecosystem.

• Discover and implement automation opportunities to boost operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with global engineering teams located in Brazil, India, and the United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).

• Proven experience in cloud-based SAP environments.

• Familiarity with provisioning, tenant configuration, and SAP landscape management.

• Practical experience with Git.

• Practical experience with GitHub Actions.

• Practical experience with Jenkins.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in deployment automation and source code management.

• Prior software development experience, with a keen interest in DevOps and Platform Engineering.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and debugging.

• Experience in supporting production environments and resolving technical incidents.

• Knowledge of APIs and system integrations.

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Availability to assist teams operating during US business hours.

• Advanced or fluent English; fluency in English is essential.

• Strong professional communication abilities when collaborating with teams in Brazil, India, and the United States.
