Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and management of a globally utilized, multi-tenant platform that is based on Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.

• Develop automation and tools aimed at minimizing operational burdens, enhancing deployment security, and speeding up incident response.

• Establish and uphold Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Product, and Support teams.

• Be involved in on-call rotations and lead the restoration and resolution of service-related issues.

• Offer technical and architectural guidance for the design, construction, and scaling of the Next Generation Control Plane.

• Drive the transition towards a highly available, resilient, and distributed microservices architecture that can support large-scale operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of pertinent experience.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in building and managing highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable production services utilizing Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies.

• Strong comprehension of Linux internals, particularly in containerization and networking.

• A code-first mindset when it comes to managing infrastructure.

• Proficiency in Go programming language.

• Comfortable with Python or Bash for scripting tasks.

• Familiar with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform, or Ansible.

• Extensive experience with observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar technologies.

• Capable of tackling complex issues with a methodical and inquisitive approach.
