Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical and architectural guidance for designing, developing, and scaling the Next Generation Control Plane.

• Spearhead the transition towards a highly available, resilient, and distributed microservices architecture.

• Engage in the development and operation of a globally deployed, multi-tenant platform utilizing Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.

• Develop automation and tools that minimize operational toil, enhance deployment safety, and speed up incident response.

• Establish and uphold SLOs and KPIs.

• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Product, and Support teams.

• Participate in on-call rotations and assist in the restoration and resolution of service-affecting issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience in building and managing highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable production services using Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies.

• Solid understanding of Linux internals, particularly in containerization and networking.

• A code-first mindset towards infrastructure operations.

• Proficiency in Go.

• Comfort in utilizing Python or Bash for scripting tasks.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform, or Ansible.

• Extensive experience with observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar technologies.
