This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Manage the SharePoint Server, including Central Administration, service applications, PowerShell scripting, backup and recovery, cumulative updates, health monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee SharePoint Online at the tenant level, focusing on site lifecycle management, permissions, external sharing, app catalogs, storage, and migrations.
• Provide support for Microsoft Purview DLP, retention, information protection, and compliance policies applicable to SharePoint Online.
• Handle SharePoint security, permissions, role-based access, and governance controls.
• Monitor and ensure SharePoint availability, capacity, performance, and platform health.
• Assist in backup, recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery processes.
• Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, IIS, SQL Server, and network load balancing.
• Utilize PowerShell for automation of administrative tasks, reporting, monitoring, and routine operational activities.
• Support the integration of SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Maintain auditing, monitoring, and operational reporting.
• Manage licenses, service agreements, and procurement as necessary.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
• Enforce change and configuration management protocols.
• Communicate and present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting, consulting, and providing guidance to junior staff.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in enterprise-scale systems administration is required.
• Practical experience in administering, managing, configuring, and governing enterprise SharePoint environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting both SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online/Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong proficiency in administering and configuring enterprise SharePoint Server (On-Premises) and SharePoint Online/Microsoft 365 environments.
• In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Central Administration, service applications, cumulative updates, backup/recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in SharePoint Online tenant administration, including site lifecycle management, permissions, external sharing, app catalogs, storage, and migrations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview DLP, retention, information protection, and compliance capabilities in relation to SharePoint Online.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, IIS, SQL Server, and network load balancing.
• Expertise in PowerShell scripting for administrative tasks, automation, monitoring, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power Automate integration with SharePoint.
• Understanding of SharePoint security, governance, permissions, and role-based access controls.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Capability to translate complex business and technical requirements into effective, scalable, and reusable technical solutions.
• Proficiency in presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences with varying backgrounds and levels of expertise.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior staff members.
• Willingness to remain updated on SharePoint, Microsoft 365, security, compliance, and emerging technologies.
• Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• ITIL v4 or v5 Foundation certification.
