Senior Settlements Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the expert for SPP & Markets+ Trading & Settlements within the organization.

• Ensure that charge code formulas and associated market rules/changes are effectively integrated into the PowerCore SPP & Markets+ settlement system.

• Monitor and evaluate modifications to SPP & Markets+ Business Practice Manuals and API Specifications.

• Provide guidance on necessary product modifications.

• Engage in SPP & Markets+ market calls, user group activities, and simulation meetings.

• Offer insights to Product Management and Engineering regarding the implementation of market changes from Front to Back office in PowerCore.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on market changes and their execution in PowerCore.

• Deliver internal consulting services concerning charge codes and ISO calculations.

• Offer Tier 2 customer support by resolving SPP & Markets+ settlements tickets.

• Function as a subject matter expert during customer calls, addressing intricate technical inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least five years of experience in validating and disputing SPP settlement statements.

• Required settlement experience in SPP.

• Proficient in using SQL for data analysis.

• Travel requirement: Up to 10%.

• Preferred experience in finance or accounting.

• Desired experience with MISO, ERCOT, ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, and CAISO.
