Senior ServiceNow Developer – IT Asset Management, HAM Pro, SAM Pro

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) solutions.

• Configure and enhance the lifecycle processes for hardware and software assets, including request, fulfillment, deployment, reclamation, refresh, and retirement.

• Assist with software compliance, normalization, reclamation, SaaS optimization, and asset governance initiatives.

• Create and manage Service Catalog Items, Record Producers, approval workflows, and fulfillment processes.

• Develop automation solutions utilizing Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.

• Design and execute integrations using REST APIs, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.

• Connect ServiceNow with enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, endpoint management tools, and asset repositories.

• Create and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer Flows, Scheduled Jobs, and Scripted REST APIs.

• Diagnose platform, integration, and automation issues through root cause analysis.

• Support ITSM processes encompassing Incident, Change, Problem, and Request Management.

• Ensure CMDB data quality, asset-to-CI relationships, and support CSDM initiatives.

• Guarantee that solutions comply with ServiceNow best practices, governance standards, and technical documentation requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of direct ServiceNow development experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting IT Asset Management solutions.

• Strong proficiency in HAM Pro, SAM Pro, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST API integrations.

• Extensive experience in creating Catalog Items, Record Producers, and automated fulfillment workflows.

• Solid JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting skills.

• Experience with Import Sets, Transform Maps, Data Imports, and workflow automation.

• Good understanding of ITSM processes and service delivery concepts.

• Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, CSDM concepts, and Asset-to-CI relationships.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.

• Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferred.

• ITIL Foundation Certification is preferred.

• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB health initiatives is a plus.

• Exposure to SaaS license optimization and software compliance programs is advantageous.

• Experience in large enterprise ServiceNow environments is a plus.
