Senior ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and configure applications on the ServiceNow platform utilizing App Engine, Flow Designer, and UI Builder.

• Work closely with stakeholders to assess requirements and convert operational needs into scalable applications.

• Implement the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, DevSecOps, Lean, and Waterfall.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to integration, MID Server, deployment, and defects.

• Employ ServiceNow best practices and governance to reduce technical debt.

• Ensure compliance with HUD security standards and federal data protection regulations.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, which includes Software Product Documentation and Update Set logs.

• Assist in modernizing application lifecycles and migrating legacy workflows.

• Offer insights regarding platform governance, capability planning, and digital transformation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience in developing and configuring ServiceNow applications for federal civilian agencies.

• Familiarity with executing the SDLC using Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps methodologies.

• Experience in securing ServiceNow applications in accordance with HUD OCIO cybersecurity mandates, DHS/OMB directives, FISMA, and federal data protection policies, including ATO support.

• Proficient in integrating ServiceNow with external APIs, data sources, identity and access management solutions, enterprise data warehouses, grants management systems, and cloud environments.

• Capability to translate mission requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Skill in managing tasks in dynamic federal settings while adhering to enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks.

• Ability to obtain and maintain an HUD Public Trust clearance.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow Governance or CSDM is preferred.

• ServiceNow certifications such as CAD or CIS are preferred.

• Knowledge of enterprise IT governance and hybrid cloud integration is preferred.

• Understanding of ITAM, HAM, SAM, SecOps, Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence is preferred.
