This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Design, develop, configure, and implement applications, modules, and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform.
• Operate both independently and as part of a collaborative technical delivery team in a senior capacity.
• Provide support for multiple ServiceNow instances and domains serving both internal and external clients.
• Engage actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative development practices.
• Offer technical direction concerning ServiceNow design, architecture, development standards, and best practices for the platform.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret stakeholder requirements to create technical solutions.
• Develop and sustain custom functionality, workflows, and integrations within ServiceNow.
• Create and manage Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, UI Policies, Catalog Items, and Catalog Workflows.
• Assist with deployment and rollout processes for new applications and enhancements.
• Diagnose platform issues and identify areas for enhancement in performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure that solutions comply with security, governance, and federal compliance standards.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and initiatives aimed at continuous process improvement.
• Support federal agencies with enterprise ServiceNow implementations that improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of practical ServiceNow development experience.
• Proven experience in supporting federal government clients and programs.
• Strong background in developing custom ServiceNow solutions utilizing JavaScript and platform scripting capabilities.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in translating business requirements into technical designs and executed solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its core modules, including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Incident Management, Knowledge Management, Reporting, and Dashboards.
• Familiarity with ITSM, ITAM, and CMDB processes.
• Understanding of ITIL best practices and service management frameworks.
• Familiar with PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management methodologies.
• Experience in supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.
• Skilled in data analysis, data modeling, and managing large datasets.
• Knowledge of SDLC principles and enterprise application support.
• Experience in platform performance monitoring, optimization, and governance.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferred.
• Additional ServiceNow certifications are highly desirable.
• ITIL Foundation Certification is preferred.
• Must have valid U.S. work authorization without current or future need for visa sponsorship.
