Senior ServiceNow Developer – Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold the architectural roadmap for the ServiceNow platform.

• Set development standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.

• Facilitate solution architecture evaluations and technical design discussions.

• Guarantee the platform's scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Design, develop, configure, and provide support for intricate ServiceNow solutions.

• Create custom applications, integrations, workflows, business rules, and catalog items.

• Configure Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, Employee Center, and Workspaces.

• Conduct code assessments and uphold quality standards.

• Implement Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions, including discovery, normalization, reconciliation, compliance, software optimization, vendor audits, and asset lifecycle management.

• Deploy SPM capabilities for demand, project, portfolio, resource, agile, and financial management.

• Develop executive dashboards and reporting tools.

• Architect ITSM capabilities for Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, and Service Catalog in accordance with ITIL best practices.

• Implement HRSD case management, employee lifecycle events, and self-service experiences while ensuring compliance with privacy and security regulations.

• Mentor developers and administrators.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into effective solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience in ServiceNow platform development.

• More than 5 years of experience in ServiceNow solution architecture.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.

• Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.

• Extensive knowledge of HAM, SAM, SPM, ITSM, HRSD, CMDB, Discovery, and CSDM.

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and core ServiceNow development tools, including Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.

• Experience in managing stakeholder relationships and effectively communicating technical solutions to business or executive audiences.

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is preferred.

• CIS-ITSM, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM, CIS-SPM, or CIS-HRSD certification is preferred.

• ITIL 4 or ITIL 5 certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
