This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide assistance and service for BMO’s Investment Operations team and business stakeholders.
• Implement investment product and service processes in adherence to financial and regulatory controls.
• Collect and format data into both regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Aid in the execution and maintenance of change management activities.
• Act as a problem-solving resource for junior team members.
• Organize work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Carry out service requests, transactions, inquiries, and other routine tasks within service level agreements (SLAs).
• Process transactions and activities promptly and accurately in response to stakeholder requests.
• Provide accurate and knowledgeable responses to internal and external stakeholder inquiries.
• Adhere to documented policies and procedures for daily operations.
• Verify and reconcile information and documentation.
• Analyze data and information to deliver insights and recommendations.
• Identify, resolve, or escalate issues and challenges as necessary.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and fulfill service delivery expectations.
• Collaborate on the development of new processes, systems, and process enhancements.
• Assist in the creation of tools and the delivery of business-oriented training.
• Manage complex and diverse tasks along with escalations.
• Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions aligned with business strategy and applicable regulations and policies.
• Typically 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field of study is desirable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient knowledge and experience with relevant systems and technology.
• Strong understanding of business unit products, services, processes, and controls.
• Familiarity with business risk and regulatory requirements.
• Effective prioritization skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Proficient PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
