Senior Service Parts Planner

📋 Description

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strategize and enhance field service inventory in the Europe region.

• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and standardization of service parts planning processes.

• Oversee service inventory and optimize target levels by establishing and maintaining planning parameters within the ERP system.

• Utilize service parts planning tools effectively.

• Create and consistently refine processes, standard work, and work instructions for service parts planning and field inventory management.

• Partner with Field Service Teams to ensure alignment of inventory strategies with customer objectives.

• Identify opportunities and coordinate the movement of parts throughout the global distribution network.

• Act as a primary liaison between supply chain and service teams.

• Monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Address any deviations from goals and implement countermeasures to bridge performance gaps.

• Report to the Director of Global Service Operations as part of the Global Service Team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with ERP/MRP/DRP systems.

• Proficiency in inventory management and materials planning to maintain optimal stock levels and satisfy customer demand.

• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interpret complex datasets and make informed, data-driven decisions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, articulate issues, and propose viable solutions.

• Experience with DBS or Lean methodology is required.

• Proven hands-on experience in implementing lean tools at Gemba, including standard work, Kanban, visual management, value stream mapping, and structured problem-solving.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% both domestically and internationally.

• Preferred experience in project management for supply chain initiatives.

• Familiarity with Oracle systems is preferred.
