Senior SEO Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop detailed SEO strategies aimed at achieving both long-term and short-term traffic and conversion growth.

• Analyze market competitiveness, SEO trends, best practices, and perform competitor assessments.

• Execute ongoing keyword research, optimization, expansion, and identification of target keywords.

• Collaborate with content, editorial, and marketing teams to enhance and produce SEO-focused content.

• Evaluate content strategy opportunities and gaps, formulate content plans, and guide content teams to create premium SEO content.

• Formulate strategies for off-page optimization and link building.

• Carry out technical audits and assess technical SEO challenges, including site architecture, loading speed, and mobile usability.

• Establish KPIs and objectives, monitor performance indicators, generate reports, and implement actions to enhance performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of practical SEO experience.

• Demonstrated expertise in SEO, SEM, and content marketing with a history of boosting organic traffic and rankings.

• Proficient in website analytics, keyword research, and data mining tools such as Google Analytics, Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Similarweb.

• Solid understanding of ranking factors, search engine algorithms, technical SEO, and content strategy.

• Familiarity with WordPress and various content management systems.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, multitasking, project management, time management, analytical thinking, and a data-driven approach.

• Experience with diverse SEO methodologies and cases in the Gambling and Betting sectors within the relevant market.
