Senior SEO Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for various client accounts.

• Perform SEO audits, establish KPIs, and achieve quantifiable growth in traffic, visibility, and conversions.

• Keep track of Google algorithm changes, AI Overviews, GEO trends, and AI-based ranking systems.

• Convert technical and analytical insights into actionable recommendations for clients.

• Research, draft, and present SEO growth strategies, performance summaries, and strategic opportunities.

• Conduct keyword analysis, entity recognition, topical authority assessment, semantic clustering, search intent evaluation, and market research.

• Enhance websites and content for both traditional SERPs and AI-driven search platforms, such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

• Create SEO-oriented content briefs and partner with content writers.

• Utilize AI and NLP tools to enhance content relevance and depth.

• Optimize metadata, schema markup, heading structures, internal linking, and semantic relevance.

• Conduct technical SEO audits and address issues related to crawlability, indexation, canonicalization, Core Web Vitals, and performance.

• Collaborate with developers to apply SEO best practices, structured data, and scalable technical SEO frameworks.

• Develop and maintain SEO automation workflows using Python, APIs, AI tools, or no-code platforms.

• Create link-building and authority-enhancing campaigns and support digital PR efforts.

• Monitor backlink quality, toxic links, and domain authority metrics.

• Evaluate SEO performance utilizing analytics and SEO platforms.

• Construct dashboards aligned with business KPIs and organic growth targets.

• Monitor visibility across traditional SERPs and AI-generated search platforms.

• Identify optimization opportunities by analyzing trends, anomalies, and competitive insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of practical SEO experience, ideally in a digital agency setting.

• Demonstrated success in driving measurable SEO growth across diverse projects or industries.

• Profound knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, content SEO, and semantic optimization.

• Experience with AI Overviews (AIO), GEO, and AI-assisted search optimization.

• Understanding of how LLMs retrieve, summarize, and present content.

• Familiarity with AI tools and automation workflows in SEO operations.

• Preference for experience with automation platforms for SEO workflows.

• Strong analytical skills and a performance-oriented mindset.

• Exceptional communication, reporting, presentation, and client management abilities.

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, Looker Studio, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and GTM.

• Experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, SurferSEO, Frase, Jasper, ContentKing, Sitebulb, AirOps, and NotebookLM.
