Senior Security Solution Architect – Presales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop extensive and scalable cybersecurity architectures to address complex challenges, such as Zero Trust, secure access, and advanced threat protection.

• Spearhead initiatives focused on cybersecurity best practices and innovative strategies, shaping organizational direction and client relationships.

• Draft and maintain client proposals, architectural diagrams, and statements of work that comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of security strategies with business goals and IT frameworks.

• Assist sales teams with strategic proposals, technical narratives, bills of materials, client presentations, and responses to RFPs.

• Conduct discovery sessions, evaluate complex client environments, and deliver customized cybersecurity solutions.

• Grasp client business needs and partner with Account Executives to provide comprehensive cybersecurity offerings.

• Recognize emerging trends in cybersecurity and relay insights on market dynamics, advanced technologies, and best practices to clients.

• Create enablement resources and guide stakeholders in vendor selection and strategic decision-making processes.

• Supervise solution development, including BOMs, product assessments, solution narratives, and high-level architectures.

• Offer strategic direction across the cybersecurity spectrum, ensuring cohesive design and implementation.

• Enhance knowledge of new cybersecurity technologies and frameworks, with a focus on proactive risk management and compliance.

• Provide innovative, dependable, and effective cybersecurity solutions, ensuring exceptional client experiences.

• Mentor team members and assume additional leadership responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering and security.

• At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, concentrating on architecture, engineering, and strategy across varied environments.

• Experience with at least one of the following: Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, Okta, Wiz, or Palo Alto Networks.

• Extensive knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks, along with risk management and compliance standards.

• Experience leading high-level discussions, fostering stakeholder agreement, and driving collaborative security solutions.

• Significant experience in building and maintaining client relationships.

• Proven ability to manage large-scale security projects and achieve results within established timelines.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to produce and present technical documentation, security policies, and architectural diagrams.

• Strong cybersecurity expertise, complemented by advanced knowledge in cloud security, network security, or application security.

• Familiarity with threat modeling, incident response, and security monitoring solutions.

• Understanding of multi-vendor security environments and the complexities of integration and compliance challenges.

• Advanced knowledge of EDR, XDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, automation, and orchestration.

• Must reside in the United States.

• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent advanced certifications are highly preferred.
