Senior Security Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct malware analysis, investigate cyber threats, monitor botnets, review exploit logs, and contribute to intelligence pipelines.

• Investigate innovative ideas, technologies, and methodologies through both theoretical and practical approaches.

• Create LLM workflows and AI agents to process unstructured intelligence, analyze adversarial behaviors, and enhance the threat intelligence framework.

• Perform CVE and vulnerability evaluations.

• Research new attack tools, techniques, and procedures while identifying defensive measures.

• Generate and present intelligence or research findings for internal security teams, customer security groups, and the wider security community.

• Develop research tools to gather and analyze intelligence from both internal and external sources.

• Collaborate with Security Architects, Researchers, and Software Engineers to bolster the resilience of Akamai systems against adversaries.

• Assist in the assessment, mitigation, and reduction of security risks and vulnerabilities.

• Proficiency in computer and network security, computer science, mathematics, or engineering.

• Familiarity with penetration testing methodologies, techniques, tools, and cybersecurity assessment applications.

• In-depth understanding of security technologies, processes, and concepts.

• Expertise in TCP, UDP, HTTP, and DNS protocols.

• Technical proficiency and a strong commitment to ongoing learning.

• Extensive knowledge of cybercrime, cyberwarfare, underground networks, and related groups.

• Capability to conduct dark web research and identify indicators.
