Cloud Security Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Support the Information Security Manager in daily operations to safeguard the firm’s cloud environment.

• Work in collaboration with the Information Security team, Managed Security Services Provider, Networking, DevOps, and other IT and external entities.

• Ensure that security controls are correctly configured and consistently maintained.

• Oversee the proper implementation of Cloud Security Posture Management, SIEM, and various cloud security solutions.

• Assist teams in securely provisioning resources within the cloud infrastructure.

• Manage cloud-based privileged access and perform regular access reviews.

• Establish and monitor cloud-based security baselines and controls.

• Assess the security posture of the firm’s cloud-based assets.

• Analyze security events using the firm’s SIEM solution and security dashboards.

• Detect and respond to vulnerabilities and unusual activities.

• Collaborate with DevOps to oversee, maintain, and enhance the security posture of code and pipelines.

• Engage in incident response as a member of the Computer Security Incident Response Team.

• Aid in audits and questionnaires, including those related to client security assessments.

• Participate in an after-hours incident response call tree.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a closely related discipline.

• 3-5 years of pertinent experience.

• CISSP certification is advantageous.

• High proficiency in Microsoft cloud technologies, particularly Azure and O365.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Self-driven with a commitment to continuous learning and problem-solving.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
