This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee the strategic advancement of our Google Ads accounts across various educational brands.
• Create and expand Search, Performance Max, and other Google campaigns within intricate lead-generation funnels.
• Manage substantial advertising budgets, prioritizing efficiency, scalability, and sustainable profitability.
• Discover new growth avenues informed by search behavior, market potential, and performance metrics.
• Continuously enhance account structures, campaign designs, and bidding methodologies.
• Formulate and refine Smart Bidding strategies based on high-quality conversion signals.
• Innovate concepts for value-based bidding and assess diverse conversion stages throughout the funnel.
• Examine conversion delays, funnel obstructions, and quality variances among campaigns, audiences, and traffic sources.
• Collaborate with CRM, Sales, and Data teams to elevate lead and conversion quality.
• Design and execute tests aimed at improving campaign and funnel performance.
• Ensure data quality across the Google marketing ecosystem.
• Further develop tracking configurations in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google Ads.
• Design and maintain the integrity of Enhanced Conversions, Offline Conversion Imports, and other measurement strategies.
• Investigate tracking, attribution, and data quality issues, proposing sustainable solutions.
• Establish a robust data foundation for Smart Bidding and automated optimization frameworks.
• Identify and integrate automation and AI opportunities within the SEA workflow.
• Leverage modern AI tools to expedite analyses, testing processes, and operational workflows.
• Assess new advancements in Google Ads, measurement, AI, and marketing automation.
• Play an active role in shaping the future SEA and measurement strategy.
• Challenge current setups and base decisions on data, testing, and cause-and-effect relationships.
• A minimum of 6 years of practical experience in building, managing, and scaling Google Ads accounts.
• Proven record in managing and optimizing large advertising budgets (preferably €500,000+ monthly).
• Extensive expertise in Google Search, Performance Max, Smart Bidding, audience strategies, and conversion value optimization.
• Several years of experience in lead-generation business models featuring complex, multi-stage funnels and extended conversion cycles.
• Background in an in-house role within a growth-focused company, scale-up, or digital enterprise.
• Demonstrated capability in developing and executing growth strategies for performance-based business models.
• Strong analytical proficiency with the ability to convert complex relationships into actionable recommendations.
• Fluent in German, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in independently designing, implementing, and enhancing cross-channel tracking architectures.
• Excellent knowledge of Google Tag Manager (both web and server-side), Google Analytics 4, and conversion tracking across various advertising platforms.
• Familiarity with server-side tracking, Consent Mode, Enhanced Conversions, Conversion APIs, and first-party data strategies.
• Experience with Offline Conversion Imports and CRM-based measurement setups.
• Capability to independently construct and verify tracking and data flows among advertising platforms, CRM, analytics, and BI systems.
• Deep understanding of how data quality, signal loss, attribution, and conversion latency impact Smart Bidding systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting, quality assurance, and documenting complex tracking implementations.
• A distinct advantage: experience in education, professional development, or EdTech.
• Familiarity with business models funded through education vouchers.
• Experience with multi-stage lead-generation funnels and prolonged conversion cycles.
• Background in organizations with intricate CRM and sales processes.
• Experience with HubSpot.
• Expertise in optimizing for quality-based offline conversions.
