This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage the automated test framework that encompasses UI, API, and integration layers for a multi-tenant web platform.

• Create and implement dependable, maintainable, and CI-friendly test suites.

• Lead initiatives to reduce flaky tests and maintain the health of the regression suite.

• Establish test patterns and tools that engineers can utilize independently.

• Formulate a testing strategy for multi-tenancy, RBAC, self-serve upgrades, and agentic workflows.

• Set coverage targets and define release-readiness indicators.

• Construct and sustain regression suites while proactively identifying and addressing coverage gaps.

• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes across development, staging, and production phases.

• Define and uphold quality gates that prevent poor releases and enable swift feedback.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure features are designed with testability in mind.

• Reproduce, prioritize, and monitor defects until they are resolved.

• Participate in architectural discussions centered around quality and testability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or in quality engineering, with a proven history of developing automation infrastructure beyond just writing tests.

• Strong expertise in test automation using Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Practical experience with API automation (REST, GraphQL) and UI automation (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools).

• Experience in integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms).

• Familiarity with containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proven ability to independently design test strategies, particularly for multi-tenancy, RBAC, or similarly intricate environments.

• Strong debugging capabilities and a proactive ownership mindset.

• Experience in testing security products such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, or related technologies (bonus).

• Background in testing LLM-powered or agentic systems, including the evaluation of non-deterministic outputs, handling hallucination edge cases, or assessing agent behavior (bonus).

• Experience in building evaluation frameworks or golden datasets for AI workflows (bonus).

• Knowledge of observability and tracing tools to troubleshoot test failures in distributed systems (bonus).

• Strong educational background in Computer Science or a related field (bonus).
