Senior Scriptwriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize and compose scripts for television, radio, and podcasts, including 15- and 30-second direct response formats, from initial brief to final delivery.

• Create user-generated content (UGC) scripts during TV production shoots and modify them for paid social media content across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Assist with influencer initiatives by providing scripts, talking points, and creative guidance.

• Develop original creative concepts and approaches for both broadcast and digital formats.

• Participate in TV and UGC shoots, helping to translate concepts into reality on set.

• Collaborate with the Creative Director of Offline, producers, video editors, and performance marketing teams.

• Utilize AI tools where they genuinely enhance efficiency while preserving personal writing judgment and style.

• Remain updated on trends in direct response, broadcast, radio, and creator culture.

• Write with a focus on performance, incorporating clear hooks, narrative structures, and calls to action.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in writing for TV, radio, podcasts, and paid social or user-generated channels, with a portfolio that showcases broadcast direct response and digital creator content.

• Profound understanding of direct response creativity for TV and radio, including the integration of hooks and calls to action in 15- or 30-second formats.

• Proven experience in writing UGC and paid social scripts for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Background in writing for influencer collaborations and guiding creators to express their unique voice.

• Experience on TV and UGC shoots; comfortable on set and capable of adapting scripts on the fly.

• Strong grasp of performance-oriented creative and conversion-focused writing.

• Proficient in using AI tools for brainstorming and drafting purposes.

• Ability to generate a substantial volume of concepts while maintaining creative acuity.

• Collaborative and agile; able to independently work with producers, editors, directors, and performance teams.
