Listings Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive, engaging, and persuasive auction listings for high-value and technically intricate vehicles.

• Contribute individually by producing 135 auction listings each month.

• Ensure listings achieve performance levels comparable to Car & Classic's average sale rate.

• Keep the workflow moving, ensuring no tasks remain unattended for more than 48 hours without a valid reason.

• Uphold high standards of technical accuracy and proactively seek assistance from team members and vendors when information is insufficient.

• Identify and address potential misdescriptions or misleading content through collaboration across departments.

• Efficiently proofread your own work and that of others.

• Maintain a high standard of written English while following Car & Classic's established tone of voice and style guidelines.

• Ensure immaculate CRM management by completing all necessary fields for accurate performance and submission-trend tracking.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to create precise, detailed written content concerning classic, collector, performance, or specialized vehicles.

• Extensive and profound knowledge of classic, performance, and collector vehicles, spanning from pre-war models to modern classics and youngtimers.

• Capable of writing persuasive and engaging listings that stimulate bidder interest.

• Consistently maintain high editorial standards, including grammar and structure in written English.

• Confident in sourcing and validating obscure or technical vehicle information.

• Proficient in utilizing CMS, CRM, and AI tools to assist with writing and research tasks.

• Strong discipline in fact-checking and maintaining technical integrity.

• Open to feedback and dedicated to ongoing improvement.

• Able to meet deadlines and volume targets without compromising quality.

• Background in editorial, journalism, or specialized writing (preferred).

• Familiarity with SEO principles in long-form listings (preferred).

• Experience with automotive marketplaces or auction platforms (preferred).
