This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Plan, oversee, and evaluate outsourced nonclinical safety studies conducted in vivo.
• Act as the main point of contact for study protocols, activities, and reports, collaborating directly with Study Directors and study teams.
• Engage in travel up to 30% for onsite study monitoring and team meetings.
• Create scientific figures and presentations.
• Organize and analyze data.
• Tailor scientific and technical content for diverse audiences.
• Draft departmental guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Contribute to departmental initiatives.
• Lead meetings and communicate study progress.
• Handle complex issues and coordinate resolution strategies involving multiple stakeholders.
• Master’s degree with 4 or more years of pertinent experience in nonclinical safety, or a Bachelor’s degree with 6 or more years of relevant experience in nonclinical safety.
• Capable of reviewing, analyzing, and conveying in vivo nonclinical safety data and findings.
• Familiarity with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) guidelines.
• Experience in roles such as study director, study monitor, or study coordinator for nonclinical safety in vivo studies.
• Proven ability to apply program and study management principles and techniques within a scientific context.
• Experience collaborating with Contract Research Organizations.
• Proficient in interpreting and presenting results within a team setting.
• Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Adaptable to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
• Proven leadership skills and a willingness to embrace change.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience in people management, including coaching, performance management, and staff development.
• Proficient in graphing software, Microsoft Office, Planisware or comparable timeline management tools, and Gantt charts.
