Senior Scientist, Analytic Science

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise project teams that are developing sophisticated analytic models and tools utilizing statistical modeling techniques.

• Ensure the creation of regulatory-compliant FICO Scores for the U.S. market.

• Work with extensive real-world datasets and maintain data quality during acquisition and processing, which includes collection, normalization, and transformation.

• Research and choose suitable statistical methods and computational algorithms.

• Lead and manage essential projects related to FICO Scores while adhering to time constraints.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert complex models and analytics into understandable insights.

• Support client meetings, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems as a reliable analytic partner.

• Utilize advanced data-mining methodologies to analyze model behavior, assist in model construction, and provide insights to both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or other Natural Science disciplines (Highly Preferred).

• Advanced skills in neural networks, logistic regression, non-linear regression, random forests, decision trees, support vector machines, and linear/non-linear optimization (Highly Preferred).

• Extensive expertise in predictive modeling and data mining, with proven hands-on experience in a relevant industry.

• Experience with U.S. Credit Bureau data (Highly Preferred).

• Significant experience in analyzing large datasets and employing data-cleaning techniques and statistical analyses.

• Proven proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, R, SQL, MATLAB, SAS, C++ or C.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions with stakeholders and senior leadership.

• Experience in presenting and explaining technical topics and analytics.
