This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Plan, create, and manage scientific content for designated accounts across a range of therapeutic areas and target audiences.
• Collaborate with the Group Scientific Director to deliver strategic medical communication insights that align with brand objectives.
• Take the lead on content development initiatives independently.
• Oversee the work of Associate Scientific Directors.
• Coordinate with both in-house and freelance personnel.
• Handle writing and other content-related responsibilities, such as conducting background research, verifying data, and annotating references.
• An advanced degree in a scientific field (PhD, PharmD, or MD) is required.
• CMPP certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in medical publications, which includes manuscripts, posters, abstracts, podium presentations, scientific platforms, and publication extensions.
• Proven organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Capability to analyze and interpret scientific data effectively.
• Proficient in multitasking, working independently, and managing projects under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with established professional medical editorial standards, such as AMA style.
• Knowledge of ethical guidelines, including ICMJE and GPP2022.
• Experience in Oncology is required.
