This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.
• Develop and deliver content aligned with client strategies and branding objectives.
• Write and support the publication and presentation of product and disease-state information.
• Create and present content across various media formats.
• Conduct critical reviews of technical and scientific reports from external sources.
• Evaluate clinical regulatory and common technical documents for compliance with regulations.
• Identify, develop, recommend, and negotiate scientifically sound creative solutions to address clients’ business needs.
• Engage directly with clients and collaborate with both internal and external scientists.
• Establish and manage relationships with key opinion leaders.
• Participate in meetings and negotiations involving key opinion leaders.
• Collaborate with clients and KOLs to create materials for advisory boards and facilitate meetings as necessary.
• Develop and implement compliant strategies and frameworks for communicating scientific, pipeline, and clinical insights.
• Establish global best practices for system enhancements, usage, and training.
• Provide scientific expertise on product strategy, disease narratives, study design, and clinical-study rationale.
• Regularly update the Head of Medical on project status, client updates, and resource needs.
• Act as a client liaison for content development in conjunction with Client Services.
• Report on project status, timelines, changes, and delays to Client Services.
• Assist Marketing with pitch materials, proposal development, pitch meetings, market assessments, and insights into medical environments, products, and clients.
• Inform Marketing of any scope changes to contracted work.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical communications agency.
• PhD (preferred) or PharmD with a relevant concentration.
• Experience in developing scientific platforms.
• Relevant therapeutic background.
• Strong understanding of medical information resources and expertise in accessing and extracting key information.
• Must be a strong team player, willing to thrive in an environment that emphasizes individual initiative and accountability to the team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Capable of multitasking and effectively prioritizing projects.
• Solutions-oriented with outstanding organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel for representing the company at client meetings, advisory boards, medical or industry conferences, pitch presentations, and other necessary meetings.
