Senior SAS Developer – SAS to Python Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Transition SAS code and workloads to Python.

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot SQL and Python code, including unit tests.

• Schedule and execute jobs on Linux/Unix using CRON.

• Utilize Git/GitHub for version control.

• Leverage SAS Enterprise Guide and JupyterHub in daily tasks.

• Assist BMO US Analytics in the transition of analytics workloads from SAS to Python.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive senior-level experience.

• Proficiency in Python (Anaconda), SQL, and SAS.

• Experience with Netezza and Redshift databases.

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and CRON scheduling.

• Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub.

• Skills in unit testing and debugging processes.

• Experience with SAS Enterprise Guide and JupyterHub.

• Knowledge of GitHub Copilot is a plus.
