Senior SAP HCM Payroll Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure the performance and stability of the SAP HCM PY (Payroll) module.

• Resolve intricate tickets and incidents.

• Implement enhancements, rollout projects, and new implementations.

• Support the ongoing evolution of the SAP HCM environment.

• Maintain and establish payroll calculation rules (PCRs).

• Maintain and configure complex payroll schemas.

• Adapt the system in accordance with collective bargaining agreements and internal company policies.

• Work on complex payroll processing scenarios.

• Ensure compliance with Brazilian labor legislation.

• Assist with legal updates and ancillary reporting obligations.

• Ensure proper functioning of processes related to eSocial.

• Conduct maintenance, analysis, and error resolution.

• Submit and process eSocial events.

• Understand and translate the requirements of HR and Payroll Administration teams.

• Prepare functional and technical specifications.

• Propose effective and scalable solutions that align with business needs.

• Collaborate closely with both technical and business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as an SAP HCM Consultant, particularly in PY (Payroll — Brazil Localization).

• Proven experience in supporting, enhancing, and delivering SAP HCM projects.

• Advanced knowledge in payroll schema and PCR configuration.

• Experience with average calculations, child support, vacation, termination, 13th-month salary, and various payroll processes.

• Strong integration knowledge across PA (Personnel Administration), PT (Time Management), and BN (Benefits).

• Experience with large organizations.

• Familiarity with high-volume payroll processing.

• Experience dealing with multiple rules and collective bargaining agreements.

• Practical experience with the eSocial architecture within SAP.

• Knowledge of handling inconsistencies and remediation.

• Experience with messaging and event monitoring.

• Ability to analyze and resolve eSocial-related errors.

• Knowledge of ABAP for HCM is a plus.

• Familiarity with transition, migration, or coexistence with SAP S/4HANA, including H4S4 / Private Cloud Edition, is a plus.

• Official SAP HCM certification is a plus.
