Senior HRIS Analyst, Payroll and Time Tracking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, enhance, and sustain Workday Payroll and Time Tracking technologies and systems.

• Act as the functional and technical authority for intricate system upgrades and organizational projects.

• Create and uphold system standards, documentation, and governance methodologies.

• Assess and propose solutions that align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.

• Oversee system health, performance, and configuration integrity.

• Facilitate discovery sessions and collaborate with business leaders to comprehend strategic requirements.

• Convert complex business needs into scalable system solutions.

• Design and suggest process enhancements that boost efficiency, compliance, and user satisfaction.

• Function as the primary HRIS advisor to Payroll, HR leadership, and key stakeholders.

• Direct testing strategies, execution planning, change deployment, user acceptance testing, and readiness activities for deployment.

• Analyze system releases and assess their organizational impact.

• Manage risks linked with system modifications and enhancements.

• Create and develop sophisticated reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics solutions.

• Enhance data quality, governance, and reporting standards.

• Establish data validation and auditing processes.

• Support strategic workforce planning and analytical requirements.

• Serve as a strategic consultant to Payroll, HR, business, and executive stakeholders.

• Lead cross-functional initiatives that involve Payroll, HR systems, data, and integrations.

• Cultivate relationships with IT, vendors, and operational leaders.

• Mentor and provide direction to Payroll and other team members.

• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders, prioritization efforts, and solution evaluations.

• Propel HR technology roadmap projects and system optimization initiatives.

• Investigate emerging HR technologies and recommend cutting-edge solutions.

• Oversee governance, prioritization, and change control processes.

• Identify opportunities to automate processes and utilize system functionalities.

• Advocate for continuous improvement and operational excellence across HR technology functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in HRIS, business systems, or HR technology.

• Practical configuration experience in Workday Payroll.

• Practical configuration experience in Workday Time Tracking.

• Extensive experience with enterprise HR systems, preferably Workday.

• Proven experience in leading complex configurations, projects, and system enhancements.

• Strong analytical, consulting, project management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in developing sophisticated reports, dashboards, and data-driven recommendations.

• Advanced functional configuration experience in Workday, including business processes, security, reporting, and organizational structures is preferred.

• Experience in leading testing, releases, and change management activities is preferred.

• Knowledge of integrations, middleware, and HR technology ecosystems is preferred.

• Experience in mentoring analysts or leading functional workstreams is preferred.

• Experience with healthcare or large-enterprise HRIS is preferred.

• Workday Pro certifications or equivalent HR technology certifications are preferred.
