Payroll Analyst, EMEA-APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee payroll processing for the UK, EMEA, and APAC regions, covering 27 countries.

• Manage year-end tax submissions and distribution of employee forms for all relevant countries.

• Assist Finance and Accounting teams with payroll inquiries and reconciliations.

• Ensure accurate General Ledger journal entries for salaries, pensions, taxes, and social security using Oracle Financials at both company and employee levels.

• Oversee UK relief-at-source and salary sacrifice pension schemes.

• Ensure timely submission of employee and employer contributions into personal schemes for all legal entities in compliance with auto-enrolment regulations.

• Organize and label confidential correspondence in Box following data security legal standards and company policies.

• Adhere to WFS documentation retention policies in compliance with GDPR.

• Administer payroll activities for expatriates and liaise with external tax vendors.

• Manage the EMEA/APAC shared Payroll Inbox, ensuring a maximum response time of 24 hours.

• Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries.

• Foster relationships with Accounting, Internal Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, and People/HR departments.

• Maintain SOX controls and coordinate annual testing and reporting with Internal and External Auditors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or an equivalent qualification is required.

• Preferably, 1-2 years of experience in Payroll.

• Familiarity with Cloudpay, ADP Streamline, and WORKDAY systems is highly desirable.

• International experience is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent planning and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook.
