Senior SAP FS-CD Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and establish the organizational, accounting, financial, and tax framework for a new venture in the insurance industry.

• Set up the organizational and accounting structure of the new insurance entity using SAP’s financial and tax modules.

• Establish organizational frameworks, master data, and financial workflows in SAP FS-CD.

• Design and set up Contract Accounts, Insurance Objects, and the Funds Management and Payment (FBP) system.

• Create and configure Profit Centers for various lines of business such as Auto, Home, and Life.

• Configure general ledger accounting events and bank reconciliation protocols.

• Engage in collections, dunning, and clearing activities.

• Ensure seamless integration between financial, tax modules, and other related systems.

• Assist in defining and implementing tax obligations for the new operation.

• Take part in integration testing and business validation processes.

• Aid in the deployment of solutions.

• Document project configurations, processes, and functional decisions made.

• Collaborate with both technical and business teams to define and validate solutions.

• Assist in resolving complex challenges related to financial and tax workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background with SAP FS-CD (Collections and Disbursements) within the insurance sector.

• Proficient in configuring organizational structures, master data, and the Funds Management and Payment (FBP) system.

• Experience with SAP FI-AP, FI-CO, and Business Partner (BP) modules.

• Proven track record in creating and managing Profit Centers.

• Well-versed in configuring G/L events and bank reconciliation methods.

• Experience dealing with collections, dunning, and clearing processes.

• Familiarity with databases and SQL/PL-SQL querying.

• Experience in integrating SAP financial and tax modules.

• Ability to work on projects related to the implementation or expansion of financial operations.

• Prior experience with insurance companies or projects within the insurance industry.

• Knowledge of the SAP Tax Declaration Framework (TDF).

• Familiar with SPED Reinf.

• Understanding of Brazilian tax withholdings: INSS, IRRF, PIS, and COFINS.

• Experience integrating SAP with Mastersaf.

• Knowledge of additional tax obligations and tax compliance requirements.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Experience in financial and tax transformation initiatives.

• Strong analytical abilities and a comprehensive, systems-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and business teams.

• Capable of resolving intricate problems.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
