Senior SAP Business One Consultant – Cloud Migration, Future Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer functional expertise for the internal migration of the SAP Business One environment from Microsoft SQL Server to SAP HANA.

• Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to establish best practices.

• Document experiences, challenges, and successful strategies.

• Assist partners and end customers in transitioning their existing on-premises Business One systems to the Cloudiax Cloud.

• Analyze customizations, custom developments, add-ons, and business processes.

• Create clear, practical, and traceable migration roadmaps.

• Provide technical and process support to partners and customers during the migration.

• Work alongside Partner Management and Development teams to identify and support migration projects.

• Contribute to shaping the target architecture for Business One Version 11 utilizing Linux, Kubernetes, and the Web Client.

• Identify processes and pain points that are suitable for extensions or the AXeLANT AI automation platform.

• Collaborate with the Innovation and Product teams on the ongoing development of AXeLANT.

• Evaluate the Service Layer as the foundational API for extensions and integrations.

• Build internal expertise regarding common B1 add-ons and evaluate their integration in the new architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience as an SAP Business One Consultant, preferably through migration, rollout, or system replacement projects.

• Strong process knowledge of SAP Business One.

• Experience with the Service Layer and external add-ons.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Business One ecosystem.

• Interest in Web Client, cloud technologies, Linux/Kubernetes, and AI.

• Ability to question existing processes and implement modern solutions and AXeLANT automation.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts.

• A conceptual and strategic mindset, linking current requirements with the future target architecture.

• Native-level proficiency in German.

• Fluent, business-level English for collaboration with international partners and clients.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
