Senior Data Engineer – Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)

• Collaborate with Azure SQL and T-SQL for staging, transformation, data cleaning, and preparation

• Analyze and transform complex mapping matrices with over 400 fields per entity

• Migrate data to Dynamics 365 / Dataverse

• Implement loads via Dataverse Web API, including upserts, alternate keys, and batch requests

• Integrate and extract information from Salesforce using APIs

• Execute data reconciliation and validation processes between source and destination

• Troubleshoot errors, retries, and quality issues during migrations

• Utilize Azure DevOps to manage activities and workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, or Data Migration

• Advanced and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory

• Proficiency in Azure SQL and T-SQL

• Proven experience with Dynamics 365 / Dataverse, preferably in D365 Customer Service migration projects

• Experience with Dataverse Web API, including upsert, alternate keys, batch requests, and error handling

• Experience consuming Salesforce APIs

• Familiarity with complex data mappings and handling large volumes of information

• Experience with Azure DevOps

• Conversational and written English at C1/C2 level

• High degree of autonomy and ability to work with minimal supervision

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate directly with international teams and clients

• Experience with enterprise data migration projects
