Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst – QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement thorough system testing cases for Salesforce improvements, managed packages, and integrated solutions.

• Conduct regression testing and assess integrations with various enterprise systems.

• Preserve testing artifacts and execute end-to-end smoke tests during weekend sprint release deployments that occur every three weeks.

• Grasp business requirements and document them as user stories in collaboration with business analysts.

• Create Visio diagrams that illustrate new and existing business processes and functionalities.

• Manage declarative Salesforce solutions to assist with sprint tasks and resolve production challenges.

• Convert requirements into test scenarios, as well as identify, document, and monitor defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

• Work with development and administration teams to troubleshoot issues.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives.

• Deliver enhancement demonstrations to business stakeholders and assist with user acceptance testing, including test data creation and training.

• Investigate bugs, conduct root cause analyses, and document findings.

• Stay updated on Salesforce releases and evaluate their impact on systems and tests.

• Propose enhancements to testing processes and tools.

• Mentor junior team members in Salesforce testing methodologies and practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Salesforce Administrator Certification.

• Over 5 years of practical Salesforce experience with a strong emphasis on business analysis, system, and integration testing.

• Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, business processes, and Salesforce security.

• Familiarity with the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and requests for proposals to the contract lifecycle, including work orders and scope changes.

• Capability to manage all aspects of Sales Cloud, such as security and access, Flow, approval processes, validation rules, Lightning record pages, reports and dashboards, and data management using Data Loader and Workbench.

• Skilled in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Experience with automated testing tools for Salesforce, including Selenium, Provar, or Copado Robotic Testing.

• Knowledge of API testing tools and methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and associated tools like Jira.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data cleaning and manipulation, including the use of formulas to compare datasets.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.

• Willingness to work shifts from 12 to 9 PM IST and provide support during weekend releases.

• Experience in the healthcare, clinical development, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience as a business analyst is preferred.
