Senior Salesforce Developer, Quote-to-Cash

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, configure, and provide support for scalable Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, SOQL, Salesforce Flows, validation rules, custom objects, and Lightning Web Components.

• Take ownership of assigned technical deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards, are maintainable, and delivered on time.

• Convert business requirements and user stories into technical designs, development tasks, configuration modifications, and solutions.

• Contribute to the design of technical solutions and offer recommendations on Salesforce platform methodologies.

• Enhance Salesforce functionalities for Quote-to-Cash processes, including quoting, order management, assets, renewals, and related workflows.

• Develop and support Agentforce Revenue Management functionalities within the Quote-to-Cash ecosystem.

• Engage in code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, release validation, and deployment activities.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Salesforce configuration, data, flows, permissions, performance, and integrations.

• Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and platforms such as Zuora, Workday, ServiceNow, and middleware solutions.

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, encompassing solution designs, configuration notes, data mappings, integration details, and deployment procedures.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Systems Analysts, QA, Technical Leads, and engineering teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and engage in peer reviews and knowledge-sharing activities.

• Adhere to Salesforce best practices, development standards, release processes, change controls, and security protocols.

• Cultivate platform expertise and identify opportunities for enhancing system quality, scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, configuration, or enterprise application development.

• Strong practical development experience with Apex, SOQL, Salesforce Flows, validation rules, custom objects, and Salesforce configuration.

• Hands-on experience in creating solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC).

• Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, and platform capabilities.

• Experience in translating business requirements into technical designs and delivering Salesforce solutions independently.

• Familiarity with a structured software development lifecycle, including requirements review, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues through the use of debug logs, error messages, data analysis, and systematic root-cause analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail, curiosity, and a commitment to thoroughly investigating issues.

• Proven track record of ownership and accountability for technical deliverables and issue resolution.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Business Systems Analysts, QA, Technical Leads, and fellow developers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to articulate technical concepts clearly and document solutions effectively.

• Preferred: Experience with Agentforce Revenue Management, Salesforce CPQ, or other Quote-to-Cash solutions.

• Preferred: Experience in designing and developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, asynchronous Apex, platform events, or other Salesforce integration patterns.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Zuora Billing, Workday, ServiceNow, or other enterprise SaaS platforms.

• Preferred: Experience using GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, deployment tools, and version control practices.

• Preferred: Salesforce certification such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Administrator, or App Builder.

• Preferred: Experience in Agile delivery teams utilizing Jira, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and defect management.
