This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Create scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.
• Facilitate technical design sessions and offer architectural insights for Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions within Salesforce.
• Guide stakeholders on Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and strategic roadmap possibilities.
• Mentor developers, administrators, and project teams on Salesforce development standards and best practices in architecture.
• Engage in hands-on development utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, flows, validation rules, security models, and automation processes.
• Design and develop custom applications and reusable Salesforce components.
• Create unit tests, integration tests, and deployment validation strategies.
• Design and execute Salesforce integrations with external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.
• Lead initiatives for data migration, transformation, and synchronization.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across Salesforce environments.
• Enhance platform performance and scalability through effective data architecture and solution design.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct peer code reviews and uphold development standards, CI/CD processes, and DevOps best practices.
• Assist with production deployments, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; additional relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Over 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions in enterprise settings.
• More than 8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Experience in Contact Center environments.
• Experience working with Federal Government clients.
• Proven experience leading complex Salesforce projects and managing technical teams.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture, security model, data model, and best practices for the platform.
• Extensive experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, Platform Events, Salesforce Flow, Lightning App Builder, and Experience Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and enterprise architecture.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern web application development frameworks.
• Experience with source control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• One or more required Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
• Experience supporting federal government programs and regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Knowledge Management solutions.
• Experience in implementing AI-driven Salesforce capabilities, including Agentforce, Einstein, or predictive analytics solutions.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST, and government security compliance standards.
