This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as the primary account manager and sole point of contact for several major accounts within the designated DC/VA/MD region.
• Grasp client business and IT challenges to enhance customer value while optimizing company revenue and profit margins.
• Create growth opportunities through the account planning process and oversee scheduled reviews and updates.
• Collaborate extensively with external partners to facilitate solution sales.
• Dedicate significant time engaging directly with customers across various functions and organizational levels.
• Develop business plans collaboratively with customers.
• Utilize consultative-selling techniques to advance opportunities and foster profitable revenue growth.
• Uphold customer loyalty, trust, and integrity.
• Meet and manage quarterly, semi-annual, and annual quota and/or margin targets.
• Record opportunities in the pipeline tool and refresh them on a weekly basis.
• Execute pipeline management and margin recovery strategies.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for international accounts in partnership with global and local teams.
• Identify customer needs, align them with company capabilities, and select the suitable supply chain solutions.
• A university or Bachelor's degree.
• Generally 8–12 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven industry experience is required.
• Familiarity with product specialties such as computers, printers, servers, and storage solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of key customer types or specific customers for assigned products.
• Advanced sales expertise and consultative-selling experience.
• Leadership capabilities and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Capacity to coordinate multiple internal and external partners.
• Experience in building customer relationships at management and executive levels.
• Proficient sales negotiation and deal-closing skills.
• Expertise in managing end-to-end sales processes for large deals.
• Understanding of the client’s industry and strategic IT initiatives.
• Familiarity with the company’s extensive range of solutions.
• Ability to translate customer business challenges into viable company solutions.
• Strong competitive selling skills.
