This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the development and implementation of innovative partnerships with customers in the Biologics specialty pharmacy sector.

• Create mutually beneficial models that enhance customer efficiency and business value while boosting prescription volumes in oncology and rare diseases.

• Collaborate with leadership teams from physician institutions to formulate tactical partnership strategies.

• Drive growth in referrals through both new business development and deepening relationships with existing clients.

• Provide support for vacant or underperforming territories of Regional Account Executives.

• Design, implement, and continuously enhance onboarding and ongoing sales training programs.

• Develop curricula that encompass specialty pharmacy services, patient support, referral and prescription workflows, access and reimbursement, and adherence.

• Simplify intricate clinical, operational, reimbursement, and specialty pharmacy concepts into actionable sales messaging.

• Conduct training sessions in various formats including classroom, virtual, workshops, hands-on experiences, and in-person ride-alongs.

• Establish sales competencies and mentor representatives through simulations, role-playing, case studies, and call scenarios.

• Create training materials, playbooks, presentations, job aids, call guides, FAQs, and knowledge assessments.

• Work in collaboration with teams from Marketing, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Clinical, Operations, Compliance, and others.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of training, knowledge retention, sales competency, and overall business impact.

• Analyze performance metrics and learner feedback to refine training programs.

• Provide leadership with regular updates on training activities, outcomes, and potential opportunities.

• Generate, nurture, and expand long-term growth opportunities and market share.

• Conduct competitive analyses, monitor industry trends, and maintain up-to-date market knowledge.

• Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues and potentially direct their work without formal management authority.


⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or equivalent experience, typically with 7+ years in a relevant field.

• A 4-year undergraduate degree is required, ideally with a focus on Sales and Marketing, Business/General Management, or Public Health.

• Over 7 years of sales experience, demonstrating a successful trajectory in the healthcare industry.

• Hands-on experience working with providers and healthcare staff/decision-makers.

• Proven strategic thinking capabilities to solve complex challenges and fulfill customer needs.

• Experience in designing and executing strategies in the field.

• Proficiency in creating and maintaining scalable training and enablement resources.

• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to influence without direct authority.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Capacity to analyze complex data, create executive-level presentations, and convey insights to C-suite stakeholders.

• Knowledge and experience in oncology are advantageous.

• Familiarity with the specialty pharmacy market landscape, competitors, and associated challenges.

• Expertise in Salesforce.com or similar CRM software.

• Skills in strategic thinking, planning, forecasting, market intelligence, and assessment.

• Ability to condense extensive information and variables into concise summaries and recommendations.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of urgency in responding to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Highly collaborative skills in a matrixed environment.

• Experience partnering with internal operations to enhance customer experiences and team workflows.

• A client-focused service mentality is essential.

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record/MVR is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% to current and prospective customer locations and company events.
