This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take charge of and enhance GE Aerospace’s partnership with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
• Facilitate engagement with senior leadership to secure business and strengthen the long-term collaboration.
• Comprehend customer vision, business model, portfolio, markets, competitors, and GE Aerospace priorities.
• Lead strategic account planning in conjunction with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Align priorities across GE Aerospace P&Ls, Strategy & Business Development, and various functions.
• Represent the customer perspective in capture teams and distinguish GE Aerospace offerings.
• Spearhead pre-positioning of opportunities and drive activities from Intent to Order through formal campaigns.
• Tackle business challenges, resolve issues, and maintain robust customer relationships.
• Convert growth priorities into actionable plans to expand the business.
• Support executive engagement at tradeshows, conferences, summits, and management reviews.
• Ethically source and synthesize competitive intelligence.
• Travel approximately 15%–25% as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in direct sales, business development, and/or account management within the Aviation or Defense sector.
• In-person attendance is mandatory for New Hire Orientation on Day 1.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven credibility in engaging directly with customers.
• Experience in presenting strategies and complex information to peers and senior leadership.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset and capability to develop customer-focused strategies.
• Knowledge of the Defense market, including airframer, competitor, and supplier roles in technology and product strategy.
• Working understanding of Department of Defense budgeting and acquisition processes.
• Existing security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Willingness to travel as the business requires.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• Capability to analyze and resolve challenges and lead complex programs or projects to execution.
• Strong business acumen, including financial considerations, business cases, and customer value propositions.
• Experience working directly with senior officials on security, defense, or commercial matters.
• Ability to inform strategies using sales, customer, and competitor data.
• Alignment with GE Aerospace Behaviors and unwavering integrity.
• Ability to demonstrate U.S. Person status: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee/refugee status.
