This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Lead and cultivate commercial teams to promote strategic growth across Thermo Fisher Scientific's innovative offerings.
• Execute impactful sales strategies.
• Meet revenue goals and increase market share.
• Establish robust customer relationships.
• Formulate and implement strategic sales plans.
• Mentor and support sales professionals.
• Collaborate with various divisions to provide exceptional customer value.
• Propel business growth through market analysis and pipeline management.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships.
• Manage the Southeast Region, focusing heavily on accounts in the North Carolina RTP area.
• Assist team and customers with regular travel.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of sales experience, including at least 2-3 years in a sales management role.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• In-depth knowledge of laboratory, life sciences, or analytical instruments markets.
• Demonstrated capability to build, lead, and develop sales teams.
• Exceptional customer relationship management and strategic account development skills.
• Advanced business acumen and analytical abilities to support data-driven decision-making.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com, as well as the MS Office suite.
• Experience working in collaborative organizations and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel 40-60% of the time to support team and customers.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Experience with Miller-Heiman or other strategic selling methodologies is preferred.
