This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.
• Retain and expand the current account portfolio while securing new accounts within the designated territory.
• Oversee an existing client portfolio of around 800 accounts in firms with 1–10 attorneys.
• Establish connections and collaborate with clients both by phone and in person to foster trust and create mutually beneficial solutions.
• Discover further sales prospects and navigate through customer organizations effectively.
• Manage the territory by setting priorities for goals, requirements, renewals, and sales prospects.
• Cultivate trust and confidence with users, contacts, managers, and executives at client locations.
• Collaborate efficiently with internal team members.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of Thomson Reuters products, the legal field, and the legal publishing sector.
• Achieve monthly sales and renewal objectives through client visits and phone engagements.
• Present Small Law products to clients.
• Gather and share market intelligence and penetration data relevant to the territory.
• Address customer-related concerns, including collections and complaints.
• Timely and accurately complete weekly sales performance reports and Salesforce.com documentation.
• Participate in sales meetings and conventions as required.
• A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, encompassing both telephone and field sales.
• Familiarity with sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
• An ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation levels.
• Exceptional communication and closing abilities.
• Strong time management capabilities.
• Ability to maintain a realistic positive outlook in sales situations.
• Capability to work from a home office and travel to client sites as necessary.
• Proficient in database management skills.
• A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A Juris Doctor (JD) is a plus.
• Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) sales is advantageous.
• Experience in the legal industry is highly beneficial for this position.
