
Senior Sales Engineer, Central America and Caribbean

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee pre-sales initiatives for Sophos cybersecurity products and services across the Central American and Caribbean regions.
• Partner with CCA collaborators and resellers by offering technical knowledge and engineering assistance.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Sophos XGS Next Generation Firewalls, Encryption, Endpoint Protection, Risk and Compliance, Mobile Security, and other cybersecurity solutions.
• Provide clients and key accounts with insights on security trends, new attack methods, and vulnerability research.
• Share tactics for mitigating cybersecurity risks based on research findings and real-world attack scenarios.
• Offer technical advice to partners and resellers.
• Clarify intricate security concepts and solutions for C-level executives.
• Remain updated on cybersecurity advancements, threat environments, defensive tactics, and compliance criteria.
• Educate clients on potential threats and best practices for digital asset protection.
• Report to the headquarters located at 3090 Nowitzki Way, Suite 300, Dallas, Texas 75219.
• Travel up to 25% to meet existing and prospective clients in Central America and the Caribbean.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or an equivalent foreign degree).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience collaborating with decision-makers to meet sales targets in the IT or cybersecurity sector.
• Proven experience with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services and Incident Response solutions.
• Technical knowledge of cybersecurity, including protective strategies for networks, cloud infrastructures, Windows, Linux, and Mac OS devices.
• Experience in delivering high-quality, engaging product demonstrations.
• Capacity to provide exceptional customer experiences and communicate competitive advantages to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience in selling through and alongside channel partners.
• Ability to excel in a team-oriented sales environment.
