This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Deliver comprehensive analysis and support for National Accounts.
• Engage in and assist with direct selling activities at the Dollar/Military/Export HQ level to boost company sales.
• Oversee assigned brokers to implement company initiatives effectively.
• Provide analytical and sales assistance to the Dollar/Military/Export Sales Team.
• Develop reporting systems and generate new reports while maintaining existing ones to monitor key metrics.
• Examine data to pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Ensure broker resources are appropriate and conduct regular broker evaluations.
• Utilize syndicated data to discover opportunities and present post-analysis findings.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Management to spot opportunities and create regional initiatives.
• Produce both standardized and ad hoc sales reports as dictated by business needs.
• Assess competitive retail pricing and suggest pricing strategies.
• Manage internal retailer price-list information.
• Generate and maintain reports based on current business requirements.
• Leverage Nielsen tools and the Category team for researching sales and retail changes.
• Monitor and conduct root-cause analysis on monthly retailer damage deductions, recommending corrective actions.
• Investigate customer post-audit claims and eliminate unauthorized deductions.
• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant analytical and/or customer-facing sales experience is required.
• A comprehensive understanding of retail and grocery sectors.
• Experience with regional grocery chains is preferred.
• Proficiency in broker management and motivational strategies.
• Familiarity with national account policies, strategies, and operational procedures.
• Capability to assess sales performance and profitability levels.
• Complete understanding of syndicated data information sources, such as AC Nielsen.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to design, implement, and evaluate sales-generating programs.
• Competence in developing effective selling techniques.
• Strong influencing and communication abilities.
• Skills in organizational planning, negotiation, and problem-solving.
• Analytical skills to interpret trends and provide recommendations.
• Proficient technical skills, including Microsoft Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Experience with Trade Planning Management systems is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of financial and business principles.
• Knowledge of a portfolio of brands.
• Ability to establish relationships at various levels/functions within customer organizations.
• Capability to build and deliver solutions aligned with both customer expectations and B&G's core strategy.
• Ability to leverage broker expertise to create successful retail campaigns with measurable outcomes.
