This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +4 more countries.
• Implement the sales strategy for the Single Use Technologies product line.
• Create business plans and rolling forecasts for the designated product line and territory.
• Meet revenue sales targets within the assigned region.
• Identify and generate leads, focusing on customers based on market accessibility.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding Single Use Technology solutions.
• Provide strategic assistance related to SUT, including competitive intelligence, win/loss analysis, strategic assessments, sales technique coaching, and new product introduction or messaging initiatives.
• Enhance market awareness for the single-use brand and its value proposition.
• Coordinate the SUT strategy across global locations of key accounts.
• Take ownership of the SUT financial objectives for the area.
• Deliver comprehensive commercial and technical presentations to clients.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Sales team and FAS to organize and execute product demonstrations.
• Supply data and insights to Sales, Product Management, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and R&D teams.
• Serve as the Customer Champion to align resources and resolve any technical or commercial issues.
• Relay customer feedback to market and product management.
• Generate precise work reports detailing achievements, challenges, troubleshooting suggestions, and solutions.
• Execute other assigned duties as required.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in a Life Science discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing, technical sales position managing single-use equipment in bioprocessing.
• Proficient knowledge of process development technologies in both upstream and downstream processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of the entire SUT product range, including hardware & automation and flexible single-use bioprocess containers.
• Familiarity with cell culture media development in biopharma, cell & gene therapy, and vaccine production.
• Awareness of cGMP & regulatory standards applicable to biopharma manufacturing.
• Experience with FAT and SAT processes, Installation Qualification, and post-sales customer support concerning equipment URS.
• Knowledge of bench-top scale, pilot scale, and large-scale cell culture production operations.
• Understanding of Bioprocess Liquid management procedures.
• Strong grasp of complex and lengthy sales cycles and the management of highly technical opportunities.
• Well-developed negotiation skills and expertise in value selling techniques.
• Exceptional customer service attitude.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Proven understanding of upstream and downstream processes and equipment in the Bioproduction workflow.
• Familiarity with GAMP/GMP standards in a Biopharma environment.
• A strong history of selling high-value production systems within the Life Science sector.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering and capabilities in software and hardware troubleshooting.
• Demonstrates a structured, results-oriented work ethic, eager to contribute ideas and take a hands-on approach.
• Able to work effectively both independently and within a cross-functional team.
• Willingness to travel extensively to client locations.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
