This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Represent Abbott and the Core Laboratory Diagnostics brand to current clients throughout Western Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.
• Create customer solutions that enhance revenue and meet growth objectives.
• Serve as the main contact for account management.
• Cultivate customer advocates and reach targeted retention levels.
• Oversee and develop accounts in line with strategic account plans.
• Conduct assay integrations and assist with technical laboratory requirements.
• Enhance and sustain customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
• Address customer concerns and facilitate operational business reviews with key laboratory stakeholders.
• Manage order, delivery, and billing workflows.
• Evaluate customer operations and pinpoint areas for operational/service improvements.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Account Managers to renew business contracts early or extend existing agreements.
• Formulate and implement existing account plans to promote value expansion.
• Elevate customer challenges in collaboration with the service team.
• Assist with new account implementation, including project ordering, instrument setup, and assay validation.
• Comply with Abbott's guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Engage with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Technical Service, and Finance teams.
• Influence customer purchasing choices and make decisions regarding reagent usage and product troubleshooting.
• Contribute to the effectiveness of CAPA through precise complaint documentation and resolution measures.
• Deliver information thoroughly and accurately to both internal and external customers.
• Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree accompanied by 2+ years of relevant experience.
• At least five (5) years of pertinent experience with laboratory instrumentation or direct experience in a laboratory setting, field service, or technical call center for Diagnostics products.
• Proven experience in providing technical product application and/or hardware support.
• Demonstrated experience in customer interfacing.
• Strong engagement and communication skills with people.
• Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Computer proficiency (MS Office).
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within assigned territory and to other domestic business sites.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biomedical, Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Medical Technology, or Commercial fields.
• Preferred: 3+ years of relevant experience in healthcare or sales.
