Senior SailPoint Architect – Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Technical Lead to define the comprehensive SailPoint solution architecture.

• Establish and document best practices and implementation standards.

• Design and enhance scalable identity governance processes.

• Convert business requirements into SailPoint capabilities and configurations.

• Provide guidance on the capabilities and limitations of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud.

• Design and implement integrations with target applications.

• Develop and customize SailPoint connectors.

• Define standards and patterns for API integration.

• Support integrations with Entra ID / Active Directory, SAP, enterprise applications, and custom applications.

• Troubleshoot complex issues related to connectors and provisioning.

• Assess the quality of identity data and establish cleanup and remediation strategies.

• Identify authoritative identity sources and enhance identity correlation and reconciliation.

• Create governance processes to maintain data quality.

• Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models and scalable entitlement structures.

• Evaluate and introduce Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) where suitable.

• Support activities related to role mining and role engineering.

• Define governance for role ownership and maintenance.

• Design frameworks for certification campaigns.

• Support Segregation of Duties controls.

• Establish governance processes for access requests and approvals.

• Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements.

• Mentor team members on best practices related to SailPoint.

• Review technical designs and implementation strategies.

• Assist with complex troubleshooting efforts.

• Create process documentation and flow diagrams for effective knowledge transfer.

• Drive technical decision-making regarding identity governance architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.

• SailPoint certifications are required.

• Experience with cloud-native integration patterns.

• Experience in migrating from another Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform.

• Knowledge of identity data management and data remediation strategies.

• Familiarity with Entra ID, Okta, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, or SuccessFactors.

• Over 5 years of experience in Identity & Access Management.

• More than 3 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint implementation.

• Strong understanding of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), provisioning workflows, identity lifecycle management, and access certifications.

• Experience in building REST API integrations, custom connectors, event-driven integrations, and automated provisioning solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of RBAC and ABAC, role engineering, entitlement modeling, and access governance.
