This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead intricate risk assessments for insured properties and operations to guide underwriting decisions.
• Identify potential risk exposures and develop strategic recommendations to mitigate those risks.
• Analyze and interpret loss data to uncover patterns and design loss prevention programs tailored to specific client needs.
• Offer advanced technical guidance and deliver client training on safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of loss control measures and implement strategic adjustments as necessary.
• Potentially manage and mentor staff, participating in talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Serve workers' compensation policyholders across Georgia.
• Conduct regular travel for on-site risk assessments, consultations with insureds, and initiatives for injury prevention and risk management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Safety Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically, a minimum of 13 years of experience in loss control, risk management, or a related area within the property and casualty insurance industry.
• Completion of or ongoing progress towards a professional designation is preferred, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), Certified Safety and Health Management (CSHMS), Associate Loss Control Management (ALCM), or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST).
