Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst – Underpayments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research on accounts utilizing the client’s Patient Accounting system, payer portals, and/or websites, as well as R1’s proprietary software.

• Analyze opportunities and assess anticipated reimbursement calculations.

• Ascertain whether opportunities should be pursued with payers and determine necessary resolution actions.

• Record account information to bolster appeal and resolution efforts.

• Identify the causes of underpayment and highlight prevention opportunities for clients.

• Facilitate opportunity creation by implementing rules within R1 software.

• Lead and assist teams in driving revenue opportunities.

• Provide training and mentorship to both domestic and global teams.

• Achieve production, accuracy, and efficiency targets.

• Complete all mandatory training courses.

• Foster a supportive and positive team culture that aligns with R1’s values.

• Perform quality assurance reviews and collaborate with global teams.

• Offer constructive feedback and encourage open communication.

• Coordinate with HBUP Partners, including the Audit Strategy Team, Client Delivery, and Centers of Excellence.

• Respond promptly to requests and assist in cross-team strategic prioritization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 months of experience at Cloudmed/R1, or equivalent experience in hospital billing, resolution, revenue cycle, and/or related data analytics.

• Proven strong leadership skills.

• An organized and analytical self-starter with exceptional critical thinking abilities and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide specific details that support claims.

• Strong mathematical abilities with a focus on complex equations.

• Proficient in computer usage and technology.
