Middleware Analyst – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage and provide support for both Windows Server and Linux environments.

• Collaborate with IIS, Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, and Java application servers.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to applications, services, connectivity, SSL/TLS certificates, security, performance, and availability.

• Publish and sustain applications effectively.

• Utilize APM tools, preferably Datadog, to assess performance and incidents.

• Create and uphold scripts and automations for installation, configuration, validation, health checks, deployments, evidence collection, and operational routines.

• Engage in environmental changes by conducting impact and risk assessments, implementation planning, validation, and rollback procedures.

• Address incidents and problems, perform root cause analysis, and ensure follow-through until the environment is stabilized.

• Keep technical documentation, procedures, runbooks, and knowledge bases up to date.

• Assist in the standardization, automation, and ongoing enhancement of infrastructure and middleware processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or a comparable higher education qualification.

• Professional experience in managing Linux and Windows Server environments.

• Familiarity with middleware and Java application servers.

• Understanding of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, certificates, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Proficiency in shell scripting and/or PowerShell.

• Capability to analyze logs, processes, resource usage, and connectivity challenges.

• Experience in production environments with a focus on incident and change management.

• Preferred: experience with WebSphere or WebLogic.

• Preferred: knowledge of Datadog/APM tools.

• Preferred: experience with automation and deployment tools.

• Preferred: familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, or Kubernetes.

• Preferred: experience in high-availability and mission-critical environments.
