Industrial Digital Transformation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create projects utilizing statistical modeling, machine learning, or artificial intelligence tools tailored to each project to enhance continuous improvement, boost productivity at scale, streamline processes, and increase reliability in industrial operations.

• Organize, structure, and manipulate both internal and external databases using relevant analytics tools.

• Spearhead digital transformation initiatives by integrating Engineering, Automation, Data, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

• Structure, contextualize, and analyze data sourced from equipment, sensors, historians, and industrial systems.

• Execute Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence applications with a focus on predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, quality assurance, energy management, and productivity enhancement.

• Oversee and enhance the performance of statistical, ML, and AI models; address code or data-related challenges.

• Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and IT teams to convert industrial challenges into scalable solutions.

• Assess new technologies, platforms, and architectures centered on Industry 4.0, Industrial Analytics, and AI.

• Ensure measurable outcomes through key performance indicators such as OEE, savings, cost avoidance, quality, energy, availability, and return on investment.

• Create and deliver reports for business teams and managers to aid in decision-making.

• Assist business teams in understanding results and formulating improvement recommendations.

• Perform exploratory analyses and foster a data-driven culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Control and Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline; or in Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science applied to the industry.

• Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with Python, SQL, and databases.

• Understanding of predictive modeling, time series analysis, anomaly detection, and classification and regression models (ML).

• Knowledge of Industrial Automation, Generative AI, LLMs, and Industrial Copilots is advantageous.

• Proficiency in applied statistics and industrial process optimization is a plus.

• Prior experience in industrial settings is beneficial.

• Experience with Industry 4.0, Industrial Digitalization, Industrial Machine Learning, Predictive Maintenance, Energy Efficiency, and Process Optimization projects is a plus.
